Home Depot is closing a store in the heart of Vancouver and is selling to Amazon.
The Vancouver Sun reports that the chain is moving its store in West Vancouver to a larger facility in the centre of town.
The sale is the latest in a series of moves to diversify into the online retail market.
It’s not the first time Home Depot has moved to new locations.
The chain has also been looking at other locations in the city, including the area around the site of the old Vancouver Canucks home.
A recent article from the CBC News website says the sale includes a 10-per-cent discount on the first month’s rent.
